In 1987 when Gosliner's book came out this species was still undescribed and listed as "Chromodoris sp2". In 1994 he must have described it, as it now has a complete name, in a different genus!
Peter and I found this nudibranch on a dive at Pinnacle, close to Gordon's Bay. It is a small animal - Gosliner states that it only reaches 15mm, which is about the size of the one shown. He only collected it at Oudekraal, so at least we now know it occurs elsewhere too.
