Leminda millecra This species, described by Roberta Griffiths in 1985, is most often found on deeper reefs, and is especially abundant on the Smithswinkel bay wrecks. It has been found in Llandudno, on the Atlantic side, as well, but I cannot recall having seen it on that side yet. Specimens have been trawled from deeper waters as far east as Natal. The larger the animal grows the more convoluted its edge become: the first image by Guido shows a very small juvenile, while the second one shows a large adult. |
