Phyllidia ocellata This nudibranch ranges throughout most tropical Indo-Pacific waters: from southern Africa to the Red Sea, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines, Mauritius and Fiji. It is generally orange or yellow, with a black and white pattern of ocelli (hence the scientific name) as shown in the photograph, although these may be of a different shape, size, or even absent. It occurs on offshore reefs down to at least 35 m, and feeds on sponges.
