Sea lice parasites found on the fish.

Short alfonsino Centroberyx spinosus This species has only been found from Storms River Mouth to Durban, and is thus far from home. It is not likely to be a rare resident, due to this distance. This 10cm long fish (it attains 20cm) was seen at the outer edge of Percy's, beneath a slight overhang. It was slow-moving, and may thus have been an easy target for local sea-lice (maybe young Anilocra capensis), as at least three are visible on the body, as shown.
